I really believe if you were to make this a full song and press some cd’s or put it on itunes the shit will sell unfortunately… it has all the ingredients that makes a song popular nowadays. Has the catchy hook..the ever present autotune..an uptempo beat/melody and for some reason I can actually see wack ass souljaboy making a dance to it. Something to the effect of making a gesture of grabbing a bitch and yoking her out etc.. Kid Cudi Spends A Day & Night In Jail

Rapper Kid Cudi (real name: Scott Mescudi) has been arrested. The 26-year-old Grammy-nominated rapper allegedly destroyed a woman’s phone and broke her apartment door off its hinges. Police were called to the altercation, in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood and according to the UK Guardian police found a glass bottle on his person, which may have contained drugs.
Cudi has had brushes with the law before, including an incident at a show in December, when he reportedly punched a concertgoer in Vancouver.  Charges include criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance.

What the fuck is wrong with all these mofos man, I swear the wrong mofos always get blessed with chances and always fuck up somehow or someway..

NY-Z

This is a 15 minute documentary on Jay-Z, one of the most prolific artists of my generation. In a hip hop culture that for the most part is still a baby he has had or has been I should say a major influence in the culture. In my opinion one of the only artists who has had tremendous commercial success but has somehow managed to stay “hood”. This short documentary directed by Danny Clinch is an insightful piece of film. In 15 minutes you actually get to witness Jay’s current mindset as well as the growth he has achieved throughout the years.  I used to be a fan of Jay’s music a few albums ago, but I’m definitely a fan of Sean Carter. Diddy you Sir do not run NY, Jay does.

What I didn’t like about it? Only 3 things:

  1. It was too short – I need at least an hours worth dammit!
  2. John Mayer was in the film – As racist as this damn white boy is, I have to say he plays a mean fucking guitar.
  3. The documentary was in association with Absolut vodka – Basically this short doc was a kind of cross marketing type of vehicle can’t really say that’s a bad thing but still.
